A bridge back to your everyday smile

A dental bridge is an effective solution for replacing missing teeth, restoring both the function and appearance of your smile.

What exactly is a dental bridge?

A bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. It’s anchored to the natural teeth either side of the gap and holds a custom-made tooth firmly in place β€” no removing it at night, no slipping when you eat.

Anchor teeth prepared

The natural teeth either side of the gap are gently reshaped to support the bridge.

Custom bridge crafted

A replacement tooth is made to match the size, shape and colour of your smile.

Fitted & bonded

The bridge is bonded securely in place for a natural, comfortable bite.

Weighing your options

Is a bridge the right fit?

Dental bridges are usually fixed in place, with no extra teeth removed. Made to feel and look like your natural teeth.

Your treatment journey

A dental bridge treatment is usually completed in a couple of visits. Here is the step by step process.

We examine the gap, discuss your options and plan the right bridge for your bite.

Frequent Questions

How long does bridge treatment take?

Most bridges are completed over two to three visits: assessment, fitting a temporary bridge, then bonding the permanent one once it’s crafted.

Is getting a bridge fitted painful?

We numb the area before preparing supporting teeth, so the process is generally comfortable. Some mild sensitivity afterwards is normal and settles quickly.

How do I look after a bridge?

Brush as usual and use a bridge floss or interdental brush underneath it daily to keep the area clean and healthy.

Is a bridge or an implant better for me?

It depends on the condition of neighbouring teeth, bone density and your preferences. We’ll talk through the best option at your consultation.
